For LAX you really don't have a choice.

Since you will be in the international terminal, OW has combined lounge that JAL passenger can access. Its located on the 5th floor. After security take the elevator.

Does anyone know when the new Oneworld lounge opens at LAX? It should be just a few months away and I think it will be very nice. Last I heard the new TBIT core area and the rest of the concourse area opens in May but some of the new areas (like security and customs) will take a bit longer as they combine the new and old buildings.

Portion of future OW lounge will open in late 2013, but full lounge including F class sub-section wont open till 2014.

The first new lounge to open at the expanded TBIT will be the Star lounge this summer. (by June I heard)

Wonder when NZ makes their move to TBIT then..
It's all about the destination AND the journey.

Last I saw was March 2014 with the schedule change.

However NZ will be running the Star lounge at TBIT from opening day.

NRT Has a few lounges in T2 where O.W. has its footprint.

AA only operates one Admirals club in T2. The Sakura Lounges for JL are reportedly really nice, but I am not sure if you need to be a member of JL's frequent flyer program to use it. I'd check with them first.
