1h15min Connection Connection CPH. Possible?

Wed Apr 24, 2013 11:50 am

Hello all,

In two days, my mother and I will be flying from CDG to PEK via CPH on SK. On the outbound leg, we'll have a 1h15min connection and on the return a 1h30min connection. Both connections are between 18:40-21:00. We'll be checking in one bag. Do you think that we and our bag will make it?

I understand that we should have considered this before booking but we saw an unbeatable deal on the right dates so grabbed it without too much thought. Then again, if we miss the flight and are put on one the next day, it's not too big a deal.

Thanks for any info or suggestions! I'll keep you updated!

CPH is easy, and pretty good. I've had connections as low as 40 minutes, and never lost a bag. Hey, I once had a 1h10min connection on two different tickets, going from SQ to SK, and had made it no problem (SQ were happy to check through my bags, but I think I would have made it anyway).

Never lost a bag.

I wouldn't worry, unless you are completely airport illiterate.

If it's an inter-SAS transfer you'll be fine! Plus if SK sells tickets like this it means you'll be taken care off should you miss your connection.

Thanks for the replies! It seems like I have nothing to worry about. I just noticed on CPH's website that the minimum connection time (for Intercontinental flights) is 45 minutes.

Yes I will echo what others have said. Very easy airport to connect at. You will be fine. Are these flights on the same ticket? If so even better.

Yes, they are. Is it a long walk from the non-schengen area to the intercontinental area? Will we have to go through customs during the outbound connection?

No customs but you will have to go through passport control since CPH is the last point in the Schengen area on the outbound trip and the first Schengen point on the return trip.

Well, we made the outbound hassle-free.
