New York/Toronto To Los Angeles

Thu Jun 27, 2013 12:14 pm

I am planning to treat myself to the new BA 787s and 380s this coming winter with a round trip LHR- EWR or YYZ - LAX - LHR.

I'll be flying Y+ on BA but know very little about transcontinental flights to LAX. I'd be glad of any advice on the 'best' way to cross from the east coast to LAX - is there an equivalent of Y+?.

ba.com offers an AA 767 NYC-LAX but I am not wedded to AA just because they are in OW with BA - so am open to suggestions on any airline really. I am happy to go non stop or via an intermediate city.

Any advice gratefully received.

In the USA we don't have an airline offering a Y+ that is equal to t/a BA. You have:

AA with extra leg room, UA with extra leg room (called e+), B6 has extra leg room...

see a pattern?

There are so many options to do NYC to LA. Just about every domestic airline will get you there. If you want n/s NYC-LA your choices are AA, UA, B6, DL, VX.
I want to live in an old and converted 727...
