E-145XR Much Cooler Than The E-145?

Fri Jun 28, 2013 2:34 pm

I mean seriously, all they did was slap winglets on it but it looks so much cooler than the E-145!

They also added strakes (or delta fins, or whatever you may want to call them) to the tailcone.

I was being a bit facetious with my initial description.

Winglets makes Most planes look cooler in my opinion

I understand. The photo comparison made me realize that the 145 with winglets also adds strakes, which i hadn't noticed before.
Also, some think the Citation X looks cooler wtih winglets, than without.

But more importantly, it adds range. They don't add these things just to look "cool".

And the XR has two trash cans in the galley, unlike the other versions of the 145 that only have one. It may seem like a small improvement, but when you have to clean the galley on these planes everyday, it is much easier when the trash is not overflowing!
