Delta 89 Divert To MSP

Sat Jun 29, 2013 2:23 am

I was listening to my scanner, when I heard Delta 89 SLC-CDG land at MSP. Any chance they decided to stop here to top off the tanks. With the very hot weather today, and high elev, did they want to prevent load restrictions? MSP is usually near the normal routing anyway, why not stop at the gas station. Or is it no problem for the A332 to take off in that heat to CDG? This of course meant If they have a full LF, which I don't know. I know the A332 has impressive performance. Of course the diversion could of been something totally different
