Air Canada 777-200LR En Route To LAX (7/6/14)

Mon Jul 07, 2014 4:55 am

Just wanted to let my fellow members know that Air Canada flight 787 is en route to LAX on board a 777-200LR.

Air Canada flight 787 departed YYZ at 09:20PM EDT and is expected to arrive at LAX around 10:40PM PDT

This route usually operates on a A320.

Air Canada is well known for surprising most of us by sending the 77W and A333 to LAX.

I wonder why they chose to send the 77L to LAX...

Did AC also happen to surprise you with their Rouge a319 from YVR?
I think its a beautiful addition livery-wise compared to their anti-freeze coolant blue..
I really like the Rouge livery.

C-FIUJ is the lucky one sent to LAX.

My guess, is a LAX flight or two was recently cancelled and that 77L was called up to clean up the mess.

Or, literally an A320 was not available for the flight due to some sort of unforseen circumstances, and they sent the only thing available...

How about using a 787 on flight 787?

If only. If that was the case, XNA would receive the Dreamliner from SFB on G4!
Now more than ever, moving forward with the new American.

Or, being the start of the busiest travel period of the year, they needed more capacity and the 77L was available.
