Who operated which engine on the A300?

Thu Mar 08, 2018 3:32 pm

Hey everybody,

sorry if this has been discussed before, sadly I can not find a list, neither here nor anywhere else on the internet.
Which airlines operated the A300/310 with CF-6 engines? Who chose JT-9D, respectivly PW4000s?

Thanks and greets,
Cedric

Any A300-600 or A310 with a zero in the middle digit of the suffix was GE, anyone with a two was PW.
A300-605R = GE
A310-324 = PW

Thanks, the 0 and 2 thing also works for the older B2 and B4 models, this is exactly what I was looking for :)

Regarding B2 and B4s only IB ordered PW. All others were equiped with GE-engines AFAIK...

SAS had these as well, and they then went on to Scanair and Conair after that.
