American Airlines Equipment/pilots

Tue May 09, 2000 12:45 pm

These two questions are specific to American Airlines:

1) In what cities are AA's 757 pilots based?

2) At American, what is the MINIMUM number of years of senority that it takes to move into the left seat on the 757(both domestic and Caribbean)?

Thanks for any information.

Regards.

1. 757 is dual qualification with 767. 757/767 crew bases are: BOS, LGA/JFK/EWR, IAD/DCA, MIA/FLL, DFW, ORD, SFO/SJC, LAX/SNA/SAN.

2. Always fluctuation and dependent upon the crew base. LAX is running about 12 years. DFW is longer, MIA shorter.
