I know that CRA operates F28s off of 5000 foot runways regularly. I don`t know the minimum, though.

Persistent rumour, (rumour only!) has it that the US Navy looked at the F28 for carrier transport. The story goes that they did trials, but didn't like the results. If anyone has more to add to this, please do!

In the past Danish Maersk Air operated its daily route to Vagar on the Faeroy Islands in the Atlantic with 737-200. Vagar has a 4100 feet runway. It was of course with pretty light weight and nothing like MTOW.
Long time ago they switched to the substantially more powerful 737-300 and -500.
I read in a Danish magazine many years ago that some Boeing sales representatives were in Vagar to shoot some film for a promotion video to show off the 737-200 runway performance. And they were there only because it was the shortest runway which was visited by 737s on a regular basis.
The local airline company Atlantic Airways uses a BAe 146 which is like tailored for the task.

On the Navy topic, they also landed a C-130 on a carrier, sans hook, and it took off sans catapult for the same idea back in the early 60's.

According to the Aviation Week magazine, "Source book 2000".

the FAA minimum takeoff feild length (FT) for a 737-200 is 8,970, and minimum landing space required is 4,580ft.

For the f28 the FAA minimum takeoff feild length (FT) is 2,920, and minimum landing space required is 3,337ft.

Hope this helps.
