Ok, I was trying to be really diplomatic about the Katana. I was trying to refrain from Katana Bashing, but when someone says (or implies) that a Katana is better than a Cessna, that's where I have to draw the line. Katanas suck. End of story. And let's not forget mention the horrendous 'holier than thou' attitude that some Katana drivers have. It's like they think they are better than us just because they have a shiny airplane. Nevermind that we have five times the experience. Ok, ok... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get off on that little tirade. Katanas aren't bad airplanes. In fact, there are things that I admire about it. For example, the constant speed prop in a training airplane, the modern instrumentation, the new continental engines, the lamanar flow airfoil, the T-tail (always been a sucker for those) It's such a love/hate thing for me. And I admit, that all Katana pilots don't have bad attitudes. It's just that the ones that I knew did, and thus, the stigma lives on. So you'll understand why saying that a Katana is superior to a Cessna sounds blasphemous to me.
