DC-10 Pneumatic Abnormal Light

Wed Mar 21, 2001 10:37 am

Hello,
I hope this is the correct forum for this question.
I need information on when the DC-10 aircraft removed the pneumatic abnormal light. When was this mod accomplished? Are there service bulletins?
TIA

As you are probably aware, the PNEU ABNORMAL amber caution light was changed to the HI STAGE OPEN green advisory light. Unfortunately I'm home this week for a dislocated pinkie finger and am unable to research any further details such as a particular S/B until I return. However, I like the HI STAGE OPEN light much more than the PNEU ABNORMAL light as a troubleshooting aid and for the Second Officer to give the status of this light during any reported pneumatic problem.
You're only as good as your last departure.
