Hello Silverfox,
Just go to :
http://www.chicago.com/airliners/gc.html.
Type your city pair and VOILA,it's on your screen!
Be sure to take a flight that's fly over Canada at night, take a window seat on the left side of the aircraft in case you might see an aurora, and get to the flight deck then.
Enjoy your trip.

SFO-BWI should be plenty long enough for Great Circle Routing. I flew MCI-ABQ one time and the pilot told us we were flying the Great Circle Route via Garden City, KS. If you look at it on a flat map, it is a slight curve...

Partial answer: coming into SFO you'll probably head for the Point Reyes VOR, then turn southeastward and head for SFO, passing over the Golden Gate Bridge at 11000 ft. Then you'll either turn left and fly down the bay to land on 28R, or continue toward SFO, crossing the field at about 11000 ft and continuing southeastward for left traffic to 28L.

From SFO to BWI you'll depart runway 1R and probably turn to heading 030, after which your flight plan will probably call for the Linden VOR (at 38-05, 121-00) and airway J84 for at least the first third of the trip. That runs from Linden to Mina (38-34, 118-02) to Delta (39-18, 112-30) to Meeker (40-04, 107-55) to I think Sidney (41-06, 102-59). For the arrival into Baltimore see

I'm no expert, but I assume the aurora is unheard of at these latitudes.

My prediction that the SFO-BWI flight would take J84 is looking questionable. Don't know how much of J80 is considered a one-way westbound airway, but I'm now guessing they do get on it at some point, and conceivably as early as Coaldale.
