Flight Simulators & Job Opps

Tue May 08, 2001 9:02 am

I am not sure if this topic has been addressed in this forum, but if yes I missed it.
My question is in regard of job opportunities in airlines that operate large flight simulation centers. For a person that has completed a BS in Computer Science & Mathematics (Generalistic education) are there any opportunities to work in these centers as Software Engineers or Simulator Software/Hardware support?
Or is it necessary to get a higher degree i.e. ERAU MS of Software Engineering(More Focused Education)?
Do some of the companies train their employees in these fields of work?

I will appreciate any info on this topic.

Try this link, It's for Flight Safety International. They are a company that handles a large majority of civil and military simulators and recurring training. There is a link on the homepage called "Simulation Systems Division", They may be able to help.

Here is the link for their Sim Software Job opportunities.
