Not likely. AA schedules planes bound for international destinations to arrive more than 2 hours (minimum, 3-4 hours normally) prior to scheduled boarding and there are multiple "spare" aircraft routed to DFW and "held" on the gate until after international flight(s) has departed. DFW ATC places highest priority for departures to international flights needing to make overseas "slot" times. Normally not seen on Pacific flights, but a regular event for trans-Atlantic flights.
I would guess, but do not know, that highest probability for delays is caused by flow control over the trans-Atlantic "Track" system.
