Approach Lights Saying

White over White, you are too high!

Red over red, you are dead!

At propper glide angle, you should see a red light over a white one.

All this is referring to the VASI, and not the approach lighting systems (ALSF-I, ALSF-II, etc.) as the topic line infers...
