I'm not sure what you mean by "secondary" radar. Never heard of it. Try www.faa.gov for some possible info.

Hi Covert,

If you're talking about ATC secondary radars, the average range of a latest generation monopulse radars is between 180 and 230 Nm, depending on the location of the site and the configuration of the terrain around that site.
