The FAA has never approved single pilot operations for any model Lear. The factory even tried to get authorization for ferry flights with only a factory pilot on board with no luck. Operating costs are $1000+ per hour. "If you have to ask, you can't afford one..."

...and you'd have to sleep in the plane. In a Lear 24 that would be like sleeping in a Volkswagon!

Boy I can just picture it....A lear 24 painted up like a hippie Volkswagon bus!!!  Laugh out loud

Actually that would be kind of cool.....There is that guy that made the 727 into a house.

I think I'll just buy a 747 and use that as my house- pay for food, fuel, and maintenance. That might not be a bad idea actually... It's a little more expensive than a house, but it could be "company owned" and that would cut the cost, and I could fly anywhere- HAHAHAHA!!! I win!!! That's the plan- I become CEO of a company that makes lots of money, buy the jet, get a custom interrior, and fly it anywhere!!! Then I can buy other large corporations and get more money... that means my own helicopter! All mine!!!

Haha. more like a little more than the cost of an island. At 300 million you could buy alot of houses.  Smile
