NWA's B-757

Fri Feb 15, 2002 9:57 am

Can anyone tell me a little about Northwest Airlines 757s? I am interested in the engine type and any other interesting info about those 757s. Thanks.

There is a thread on this over in Gen. Aviation.

But to cut to the chase, they all use PW2000 series engines.

Capt_smith: The fourth quarter 2001 fleet register for the Northwest 757 fleet is as follows: 52 aircraft, all 757-251 models. All carry the P&W 2037 engines. 5501 through 5534 have 180 seats. 5635 through 5653 have 184 seats, and also have partial ETOPS provisions.

I believe there have been at least 2 more aircraft added since this register was printed, (see photo above), with more 757 aircraft due to be delivered this year. Regards,
