What Is This Wingtip? Fokker 50

Sat Apr 13, 2002 10:22 pm

What is this???
I shot this in June-92, and have never seen such wingtip on the Fokker 50 ever since. On another shot of the same aircraft individual at another date it is a normal wingtip..

Let me know!

Hi there,
if you look closely you'll see that it's the top of the tail and the tailplane of the airplane behind the Fokker 50

Cheers,

Jeff.

I was caught out first, but it looks like if it's the tail of the a/c behind.

Ummm sorry but that isn't the tailplane from the aircraft. Look at the path that it tracks, it goes right into the wing.

There is no way that it can appear in front of the wing, and be from the aircraft behind it.

As far as what it is, not sure.
At worst, you screw up and die.

Like 747Forever said, it's the tail of the airplane parked behind the F-50. Seems to be either a DC-9 or MD-80  Smile
