Well, a brief search doesn't show any members of the executive board, board of directors, or executive officers having the initails "FT" so the simple answer is out.

But THAT is a helluva corperate aircraft!

Would Flying Tigers have a history that goes back far enough for this bird to be something FedEx acquired in that transaction? '89 would be aproximately the right time for it to have been re-registered. That would lead me to think it's a display bird. Why they pay to keep it on the books is beyond me. I agree, an awesome ship.

I didn't realize that the competition with UPS was getting that competitive  Laugh out loud
OBAMA-WORST PRESIDENT EVER....Even SKOORB would be better.

I don't get the mfr date. I'll bet a cool one that not a single P-40 was manufactered in 1948!

That's when it was re-registered. More than likely out of China.

It was probably put on the civil register in '48, after being surplused from the service. You would definitely win the cool one.
