New Reporting Point At CLE

Wed Aug 14, 2002 5:39 am

Hi y'all --

I need a pilot or other person who knows ops at KCLE to identify the new reporting point for the approach to Runway 6R.

The ILS outer marker is still listed as "HARRI" but I've been hearing pilots use a different name for their reporting point lately.

It's very recent, within the last two months. It sounds like "Tubo" -- and I've looked up several different combinations at http://www.airnav.com such as:
TUBBO, TUBOW, TUUBO, TUUBO, TOOBO, DUBOW, DUUBO, etc.

Help?

It's TUBOE, the FAF for the GPS (RNAV) and ILS 6R.

It's on the charts for CLE, though it may be new..

Thanks, Theiler! That's a real help! I'm trying to make new visual charts for KCLE, to help spotters, and it's nice to assign a visual point a name. Plus now I can map it!  Smile

I was able to find it on Airnav.com, once I had the correct spelling. I have no idea why I didn't think of that one.  Yeah sure

And thanks for the STARs page, too!

cheers,

I love listening to the pilots trying to pronounce it.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy There are so many different ways, some can even say it right... What is the correct pronunciation of it?  Confused
