I would like the opinion from pilots, F/E`s pursers and flightattendants(if they are around) about the issue of cameras installed in the cabin to increase security. The system in my head reads as thus: Cameras cover the whole cabin area from above and the galley`s. Monitors installed in the galley and on the side of the pilots, or old F/E panel should give an early alert to the pilots to be able to inform homebase about ongoing things in the cabin. And what about the flight attendants being equipped with a small device which can send a warning signal to the cockpit to draw attention of the pilots to the TV screen to monitor the perhaps hazardous situation on board? Would airlines be interested in recording images on board regarding passangers getting aggresive or abusive to other passangers or flight attendants?
Thanks a lot guys!!
