B736 And Cargo

Sun Apr 27, 2003 3:23 am

I doubt if it can, but can the B736 carry LD2 or LD3 containers? If yes, how many? If no, what is it able to carry and how much?

The B737 does not use containerised freight loading in the lower holds, go to section 2.6 at http://www.boeing.com/assocproducts/aircompat/acaps/737wsec2.pdf for the dimensions of the cargo hold.

I'm also pretty sure there aren't any NG 737's in cargo service yet. Please correct me if I'm less than correct.

Thanks for your replies!  Smile

Yeah, thought it was unlikely.

Avioniker - there's the B737-700 Convertable but I'm not sure if any airline has thus far purchased it.
