British Airways 757 Nose!

Sun May 04, 2003 7:29 am

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know why British Airways have a black ring around the nose of their 757s? I heard it might be to do with testing a microwave landing system to replace ILS but am not sure? If it is a test, how is it going? Do any other airlines have them on test?

Cheers!
