Tcas Regulations

Fri Jul 25, 2003 2:25 am

Can someone briefly describe TCAS regulations worldwide? Do TCAS requirements exist in all parts of the world? Are cargo aircraft exempt? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

In the US and Europe the equipment is now mandatory and I don't believe cargo aircraft are any exception to the rule.

Any aircraft flying in or through this airspace must have the equipment installed (apart from smaller GA planes but I don't know where the line is drawn in that regard...).
I used to love the smell of Jet-A in the morning...
