What are the WX minimas needed for CAT I, II and III airfields for B732, B733 and A320?

Usually, CAT I minimums are 200' AGL, CAT II is 100' AGL, and CAT III I don't know much about but 50' AGL comes to mind, but there's other things involved for III.

In Cat.IIIa operations (747) the "alert height" generally occurs between 30 and 50 feet AGL... the approach is flown on autopilot with autoflare capability. The aircraft we so operate are technically capable of Cat.IIIb operations (again autopilot) but the 747 is not approved to these minimums.

There are two Cat.II minimums, (I call them the 150 and the 100 Cat.II DH). One requires full equipment working, the other permits approaches to the higher minimums with some equipment inoperative...

When can the autopilot be disconnected in CAT II and CAT III approaches?

Reread the last posts, that is the decision height, or minimum.

Just learnt that our company has established its own minimas:

CAT I: 800mtrs
CAT II: 300mtrs
CAT III: 200mtrs

This is for B737 only. Don't know what the minimas are for the Airbus yet.

Mjzair mentioned CAT IIIA and CAT IIIB. What is the difference?

Lmml 14/32:

The difference is in the RVR or Runway Visual Range.

IIIA Must be at least 200m

IIIB Can be 200m all the way down to 50m
