AirTran Boeing 717 With BR715-C1-30 Engines?

If you look at the plate that under the captain's #2 display, you will see that it shows BR715-C1-30. On all of the AirTran 717s I have been on, they say A1-30. Why does this one have different engines?

On several of the aircraft, maybe 6 or 7 (I can get the A/C #s with a little more time, if you care..I think they are in the 740s), the engines were converted from A1s to C1s (increased thrust from 18,500 to 21,500) for use on the Denver routes.

They did it intentionally so you'd have to change your user name...  Big grin

Not real familar with this engine, or I'd venture a guess...
