My JAR/ATPL Written Exams Due On Monday

Sun Jan 11, 2004 5:30 am

..starting with the Airlaw, followed by other 13 exams over the next 2 weeks.
Nothing bothers me except Meteorology and maybe Flight planning.. damn that climatology  Smile

Any experiences to share, anyone?

Regards,
Jernej

I wish you good luck! Smile

My JAA ATP exams will be in june this year.
I agree, Meteorology is a bit tricky but I find Electrics and Electronics also difficult (though not impossible!).

Regarding climatology
Dunno what feedback you have, but I have seen feedback questions on:
-Position of the ITCZ with relationship to Dakaar in July and January.
-Position of the ITCZ on a flight between Dakaar and Rio in january.
-Harmattan, Bora, Mistral, Ghibli (Libya) position and description.
-ITCZ and position in relationship to Darwin, Australia in Jan or July
-Weather in Darwin in July or Jan.
-Position of tropical revolving storms and names - remeber none within 5 degrees lat of equator.
Track of TRS (hurricane) in the north atlantic (Westerly, then north easterly around the Azores high I think)
-Lows and highs around the north atlantic in jan and July, and things like Beluchistan low in July, Siberian high in Jan etc.
-Equatorial African rains - March to May (long rains) and Nov to december (short rains)
-Know the position of easterly winds in both jan and july - different to the easterly jet!
-Heights in mb and feet of the various jet streams and position and season.

hmm, thats all i can think of for now. Good luck!

So far so good.. airlaw 90%, operational procedures 76% (phew), aircraft general knowledge 79%.
