Trekster,

I would have thought that it would have been a good idea to know a bit about your chosen career before you signed on Smile

However, from what I remember you could do anything from repacking Brake Chutes ( do we still have them?) to looking after all the aircrew's kit - life jackets, dinghies, parachutes etc. You will have quite a responsibility. someone's life will depend on what you do.

You could have chosen a worse career so enjoy every minute of it.

Not always true Trekster. If you enter a safety sensitive job with pre-conceived notions of what the work entails or what others have told you the work entails, you may be harder to train. And in jobs like this, you have to do it right everytime.

Its more difficult to un-train someone than it is to train him.
