Static Vents,how Are They Cleaned

What is the procedure for cleaning Static vents [flush mounted] on an Aircraft.
I may not win often, but I damn well never lose!!! ;)

You flush a static system with air. The basic procedure is to disconnect all instruments, cap all fittings, supply air (15 psi max per B757 AMM), and remoce and cap fittins 1 at a time in order to completely flush debris/moisture from the system.

If for some reason you need to clean the outside, just wipe it down. use no abrasives or solvents that may cause any distortation of the port or surrounding area.
