A 330 Range

Fri May 14, 2004 12:29 am

This Saturday Korean Air is commencing operations from Korea to Prague using an Airbus 330. News reports say the flight time is approximately 11 hours and 20 minutes. I don't know the distance. My question is, is that flight time pushing the limits of a fully loaded...fuel and cargo...A330?

As ArmitageShanks has already stated, it's within the range. Keep in mind, AF operates (or operated) A332s on the CDG-KIX route (5995mi), and TAM flies A332s daily between CDG and GRU (5829mi)... and I think OS flies it's A332s to Japan as well, but I'm not sure about that.

By the way - the 5131 miles between SEL and PRG are statue miles, not nautical miles... it's 4459nm.

And here's the updated link...
