BA Fuel Leak Details

Anyone know more on this.Why wasn't the leak visable on Ground test post Mx.

This episode happened last month; details have only just been published. The trail of fuel/smoke was actually spotted by another pilot waiting his turn to take-off. The investigation not only found that a door/hatch was missing, but just inside the aperture was a bag containing the screws that were supposed to hold the door in place.
Seems strange that the missing door was not spotted on a ground inspection. Sounds like shoddy work practice to me.

Minimal brakes huh...He must of had those thrust reversers on full blast to slow that beast down at max landing weight.
