CRJ Systems Acronyms

Thu Sep 02, 2004 8:00 am

Anyone know of any websites to look up CRJ advanced systems acronyms? Our Gen. Fam. guide doesn't have a glossary and assumes we know what all the acronyms stand for. Thanks.

Thanks for the lead. I'd e-mail ya, but I don't have any right offhand. They come up as I am reading through a lot of the in depth information. It's just a PITA not having a QRH for acronyms nearby. To top it off, our Gen Fam manuals have their fair share of typos.

FECU: flaps electronic control unit
SECU: Spoiler electronic control unit
if your flight goes MX in YUL, I might be called to fix it!

You could say we never get that message.  Smile

I don't know of any websites, but if you had some specific ones in mind, I could help you out. I've taken a CRJ systems class so I have a fairly good idea of most of them.

Flight Spoilers Fault and Prox System Fault. I've figured out that if you can clear those messages on a CRJ, you too could be a mx controller.
Thanks...C-Ya...Bye

Maybe not CRJ specific, but I'm pretty sure some of them apply:
