I Came Across This Video Clip

Thu Sep 09, 2004 9:49 am

In my procrastination over a paper I'm working on, I came across this video clip of a landing that I think the pilots would like to have back, any ideas if it's real, or fake, anyone know any history about it?

If it's the CGI clip of the Airbus makintg the really hard landing, that's a from a Heinken beer commercial and has been discussed repeatedly.

If it's that garbage about the AA 757 not really hitting the Pentagon on 9/11, that was discussed (again) and debunked just YESTERDAY.

(I hope this doesn't turn into another 40 message thread...)  Insane

It is NOT a video about the pentagon crash. Repeat, NOT about the pentagon crash, it's what looks like to me an A319 having a bumping landing and that's all.

NO crashing

NO conspiracies

NO pentagon

NO 9/11

I couldn't pull up the ebaumsworld link to make sure.. That site name came up in the 9/11 thread yesterday...

>>>If it's the CGI clip of the Airbus making the really hard landing, that's a from a Heinken beer commercial and has been discussed repeatedly.

Try a search for "Heineken" and I'd bet a box of donuts it's same clip if the aircraft landed. If it didn't, and went around, it might be that clip of the TAP A321 trying to land in a bad crosswind...

I found the file on another site that wasn't blocked, and it is indeed from the beer commercial...

PS. Search for hard landing in the civil archive.

It's NOT a real plane it is one of those RC airliner models (the front landing gear is a dead giveaway... the doors virtually cover the tires that is NOT the case with the REAL version)...

not to mention the VERY light vehicle dynamics. A real plane would have been torn to pieces if it did what that model did.

There's a few sites that show how R/C airliners are built. They are amazing, however for the untrained eye this video can deceive.
