Scandevice For Explosives And Drugs On Cargo Plane

Fri Sep 10, 2004 12:43 am

Dear forum members,

I'm doing an graduation research about scanning air cargo. Now I'm wondering, can a whole aircraft plate be scanned in only one scan, or do they have to break the plate down? I know there are ion-scan, but what are their capacities, who makes them (manufacturer) and how long does a scan take?

Anybody with info please let me know. Thank you in advance.

Cheers,

Okay, i know what you mean, but who are the manufacturers of these machines? What are the costs? What time does it take to scan a entire aircraft plate?

Cheers,
Schreiner

PS. I know that there are airlines that scan all of their plates. But that's not my question.

I understand this is a risky subject to talk about, but I think there is lots of info that is not risky to share. I cant imagine that nobody knows things about these systems. Every cargo airline is experimenting with these kinds of systems.

I'm trying to get the aircargo safer line of business here... trust me.

Thank you for your reaction, and have a nice day.
