DC9 History Facts.

Sun Oct 31, 2004 4:29 am

I need to know please if someone could help me out with a couple of historic facts for a couple of DC9-15's.

They both operate with AeroCalifornia

XA-RKT CN47122 - 224 Del.12/20/67 Ex: XA-SOD, EI-BZZ

XA-RNQ CN47059 - 125 Del05/30/67 Ex: XA-SOA, EI-BZX

I need some extra info on them, anything is really appreciated. The most important thing would be if anyone can provide me the total hours these planes have flown.

Thanks in advance.

RNQ was built in 1967. This I know since I use to work for Aero Cal. At LAX. as far as the times I haven't been there in more than 5 yrs. Sorry just a little fact I remember form there or are pretty sure of.

Apart from the info you have already supplied, both XA-RKT and XA-RNQ have JT8D-7A engines and an MTOW of 41141kgs each. These two airplanes have the highest number of cycles for the DC9 family. While I cannot tell you exactly how many, the figure is close to 100,000. Both aircraft are to be retired shortly.
