Cradle-class On BA?

Just a short question....

Do the Cradle-Class on BA still exist?

I thought they changed the layout on all planes to the new 4 class configuration.

I was wandering because the BA reservation system shows me the "cradle-layout" for a 777 flight to yyz in august.

Thanks by now  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Greetings
Tobi

p.s. Is there a good page in the internet especially with BA pics?

if you are talking about the club world cradle seat, then I believe it still exists on some 763ER international route models....

also, i think that the BMed business class had the cradle seat. At least I remember walking through the cabin and seeing the seats on the aircraft.

someone please correct me if i am wrong.

I don't believe BA has cradle seats left on any 777s.

As was pointed out above, bmed does have them. I sat in one on one of their new A321s to Baku earlier this year (and very nice it was too!)

they still have cradle seats on various flights from LGW - they are progressively upgrading the a/c there now. I believe ANU was recently upgraded to flat beds.

For BA Mainline: All 744s have New Club World (NCW) flatbeds and WT+ fitted. All ex-LHR 777s do too. There are still a few (3 if memory serves) 777s ex-LGW with the Old Club World (OCW) crade seats and no WT+. As above, the 767 fleet has not yet been 'dusked' either so contains OCW (and no WT+).

If your flight to YYZ is showing cradle seats, maybe it has been substituted for a 767 for some reason. However, be careful - it may just be one of the 3-class 777s with no FIRST; only Club World (flat beds), WT+ and WT-. You can tell if the seatmap is OCW or NCW by the layout. If it's showing 2-4-2 in J on a 777 (not 2-3-2 as the pic above shows for OCW) then it's NCW.

Thanks a lot for your answers.

I solved the problem with the page http://www.seatexpert.com

There is a special 777 version just with the new Club World an the World Traveller class. This seat layout is not shown on the BA page and not at seatguru.com. That is why I was confused.

But in the BA reservation system it is shown.

So, thanks again.

Greetings
Tobi

I think something odd is going on. This 777 is the type they typically operate on the 'bucket and spade' routes ex-LGW where premium demand is low. I would be very, very surprised if it was operating LHR-YYZ...

Mmmh, I don't know.

The 2-class seatmap from seatexpert.com is absolutly similar to the reservation system of BA.

Maybe there is a mistake at BA. I don't know how exactly this system works.

BA offers 3 daily flight to YYZ out of LHR (1x744/2x777). The 744 has definitly the 4-class layout. Maybe it is just this one 777 without First Class.
