Any Job Opptys?- Continental In Africa

I just read the press release on Continental's website announcing their new service to Lagos Nigeria.

Wow! Talk about a potential dream job opportunity.

Does anyone know who I can get in touch with at Continental to offer my services to them? Before you think I'm stark raving mad, let me give you some Contex.

I am a marketing and operations executive here in the US. I was born in the US but have roots in Nigeria. I would absolutely love to help Continental get it right and avoid the pitfalls that could crop up over there in Nigeria.

Plus, you guys would then have a contact on the ground in Africa (Nigeria specifically) sharing even more insight into the sorry state of affairs there in terms of aviation (don't even get me started).

And I would from time-to-time come to this site to solicit your advice on possible customer service issues.

Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that the jobs I've seen posted on CO's internal website says that the jobs are ONLY open to current employees. I would try to make contact with someone in Human Resources and inform them of your qualifications.

We're a pretty good company to work for, so good luck.

ah Nigeria, count your fingers after a hand shake.
Been there and dealt with it. Internal carriers maintenance practices are
lacking to say the least.
West Africa is a night mare (Gabon, Cameroon, Nigeria etc) with doubtful business practices and complete lack of customer service ethics (load factors too low, no prob, just wait till more pax arrive..... still too low cancel flight, lock up and go home..... meanwhile forget to tell the crew standing on the ramp)
Flight and duty time is paid lip service (why speak up when you'll just get fired)
Bright side is you do not have to deal with lawyers because trying to chase up any contract in courts is a waste of time and money, so sign any piece of paper. Just make sure you get paid.

Whenever we get business in East Africa I scream. Don't get me wrong, you can make money, the risks are high but so are the rewards but its shear raw in your face capitilism and you need your wits about you or you'll loose everything.
East Africa fine, Southern Africa the best (that being South Africa, Namibia and Botswana
