Checking The Tops?

Thu May 04, 2006 2:23 am

How and where can I check the cloud tops ove on my area? Right now its very overcast and the ceiling is about 1,800 feet overcast ABove Ground Level. So is there a site that I can check the tops?

Also, do the cloud tops are measured in Above Sea Level or Above Ground Level?

I just called ATC and asked if they knew. Just don't do it all the time (if you're using a phone).
