Copied and pasted from the A.net A/C data:

A300B2-200 - Typical high speed cruising speed 917km/h (495kt), typical long range cruising speed 847km/h (457kt).
A300B4-200 - Same

http://www.airbus.com/en/aircraftfam...0a310/a300-600/specifications.html

Airbus gives data only for the -600, but I supose that more or less is quite the same.

Mmo: .82
Cruise have to be around .78 - .80

Correct me if I'm wrong!

The B4 wing is very different from that of the A300-600 and A-310. I wouldn't use -600 information to answer any questions about the B4 or B2 models.

That said, the cruise speeds for the older stream gage airbus was slower than the later models. Someone current with Express.net or DHL might offer some good information.

Didn't know that B4's had different wing, I stand corrected... anyway I googled the specs for the A300 B4, and found nothing.

How different is the original A300B4 it from the A300B4-600 and the A310? Is it because perhaps the A300B4-600 and the A310 have perhaps a supercritical wing or do they have a "regular" wing?

Having worked with the A300B4 at a previous job, they were on the slow side and planned at M.78 which almost exactly matched LRC speed.

The A310 and A300-600s on the other hand were planned at a faster M.81.
