Tyre Rubber On Runways

Thu Jun 15, 2006 2:27 am

My question is how is the tyre rubber cleaned on runways ?

Also, I remember reading sometime back, that there was talk of making tyrea to rotate so that there will be less rubber left on runways but I gues it was never implemented ??

Thanks

here they pressure wash them clean with hot water, and some sort of desolving agent....
The only time there is too much fuel onboard, is when you're on fire!
