UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) - Interview Advice

Mon Nov 27, 2006 1:43 am

Hi all,

Firstly sorry as this post isn't technically tech/ops but I am after the views of pilots and reckon this is the best place to find them!

I have been called for interview at the CAA for the position of 'Licensing Assistant' - It would be my first 'proper' job having graduated from university if I get it (fingers crossed!) and really wondered if anyone knew of any info on the role, or help on the interview?

I have a pdf with some basic info but doesn't give too much info so any help would be much appreciated as being pilots, you guys may be able to give me a little info on what may areas I should focus on if I am to be in the licencing department of the CAA.

Many thanks in advance

Well from the sound of it i guess you'd look at peoples submit forms for the licenses you'd then either approve or deny and state the reason why (A bit like a photoscreener here)

Again thats only from what i read in your post.
