Operating Costs For An Aircraft?

Tue Dec 05, 2006 5:08 am

Hello everybody,

who can help me?

Does anybody have information about operating costs for an aircraft?

I'm a student in business studies and everybody hast to do a economical project. I would like to calculate a transatlantic flight between HHN - BWI or STR - BWI.

The aircraft I would like to use, is a B 767-200ER or A310-300.

Who can give me a complete list of all costs for an operation on this route?

For example:
-aircarft leasing (incl. crew)
-fuel
-insurance
-airport fees etc.

What are the other costs? And can anybody tell me the quantity of this cost, or where I can get the information about these costs?

Thank you in advance for all your good tips  Smile

Quoting Transatlantic (Thread starter):
fuel

LHR-JFK with a B747-400, you're looking at around $40,000 USD of fuel.

I'm not sure about the aircraft you specified.

Quoting Transatlantic (Thread starter):
insurance

Its included in the taxes and is not part of the ticket cost.

Welcome to a.net!  wave

You can search the forum with the search function (forum --> search forum). There are some discussions on the topic "operating costs" that contain links, for example this one:
http://www1.airliners.net/discussion...=144668&s=operating+costs#ID144668
Maybe the first link there (to ICAO) will do for your project.

Happy landings!
