AMERICAN/AMERICAN Eagle At JFK

Wed Jun 20, 2007 12:50 am

I wouldnt mind getting a job at American Eagle one day and then maybe American Mainline. I think American wants like 1500 or 3,000 to work for the main while American Eagle wants 800TT with 100ME. Anyways according to the AmericanEagle website, and airlineapps.com, the NYC domicile is LaGuardia. I actually live 5 minutes from JFK and 24 minutes from LGA. If LGA is American's NY domicile, who does the JFK flights on the A300s to Dominican republic and all the other locations the A300s and all the JFK aircraft goes? Who flies those aircraft? Meaning which domicile is assigned to do that?

Not sure how AE does things, but AA's LGA domiciled pilots cover LGA, JFK & EWR trips. I think BOS is the only pilot crew base that has a single airport responsibility. For additional info, see: Crew Bases: Probability (by HighFlyer9790 Feb 15 2007 in Tech Ops)
