CSC Duats Vs. DTC Duat

Fri Oct 26, 2007 1:35 pm

Is there any real difference between the two? Which do you prefer, if you do go the "online route?"

Thanks,

I have accounts for both. They both do the same thing, although I do like the more refined look (IMO) of duat.

I have accounts for both, and quite frankly, I think DTC DUAT is light years ahead of CSC DUATS. So I take it that they display the same, general information?

Yeah they display the same info. Like you, I think DUAT is light years ahead. Either one you choose should work though.

Those were cool a few years back but if you want to see a great flight planning site, go to fltplan.com. It is wicked awesome and most of us out there in the 135 and part 91 world are using it to file our flight plans. It has great flight planning functions with winds aloft that are very accurate and it computes flight time and fuel burn. You can choose from pre-loaded performance data for a bunch of different airplanes from a Cessna 152 to a 767 or you can load your own data in. The weather function is great too and you can put your route of flight up with radar and plan accordingly. Best of all, it's free(for now at least).
