Delta 757's W/ BizElite

Ok. So I was on Seat Guru shecking out NW's birds as I have a flight with them in a few weeks. I must have been living under a rock because I didn't know their domestic fleet has NO IFE. This really sucks! Anyway, I went to Delt next to check out their 764's and noticed that they have a December 24th date posted for the new Business Elite seats to be complete on at least one of the ETOPS 757's. If this true? If so, what route will it most likely operate.

N713TW is currently receiving the modification. As for the route, look for it on JFK-SNN as well as floating around the domestic system in between pond crossings.

Isn't Shannon considered a leisure market? How much money do they expect to make off of that seat? Or is it just going to be used there for the time being.

Viable? I'd rather be on a transcon DL 757-200 with AVOD over a UA or AA transcon anyday.

Oh wow! Didn't know they had it that bad. I was thinking tha way becauseof the lack of "premium"seating. But I guess they figure that they are pulling enough customers as to not have to do that.

You must not browse these forums and read the NW threads because next to the most discussed thread of "when will NW retire their DC-9s?" is "why is there no IFE on domestic NW?"  Wink  Silly

The only two things that I would like to see from UA in DL's fleet is the E seating for coach for tall guys like me  Wink

The other is channel 9. But thats an entirely different thread!
