Interior Camera On Chataqua Aircraft?

Sun Feb 24, 2008 8:02 pm

Yesterday 2/23/2008 I was on a Chataqua flight from IAH-IND a 4:05 pm.

I sat in seat 2A and noticed a camera behind the bulkhead of 1A on the ERJ-145

Does anyone know what this is ?

Where was said camera facing?
Me: (Lining up on final) I shall now select an aiming point. || Instructor: Well, I hope it's the runway...

It's one of three cameras used in the cabin monitoring system

has a nice writeup on it. Interesting that the cockpit LCD screen is behind the captain.

It's easier just to spell it "Shitaqua." Or, as some Paris-Hilton type girl at DSM called it "Shaniqua Airlines" - probably as a result of the FA being one of 5 African-Americans within Iowa borders at the time.

I won't disagree one bit, but on the radio it tends to really piss some folks off! "Shetaqua" also works if it a female on the radio!  Smile

Ahh not only a vacationer but home owner just about the time you were a gleam in your Dad's eyes albeit a long range gleam!  Embarrassment

Oh ATCT, just make all those comments you like of the 11 junk, but if the 11 stopped feeding the monkey cage traffic the cage would surely become a 9 faster than you can say "qua"!  bouncy
