Collective a.net hive-mind, answer this one for me. I flew LHR
yesterday on a BA
A321 and I snagged myself the exit row window seat. Acres of legroom of course but from the moment we took off the emergency exit was making rather disconcerting noises. I would describe it was sounding like someone crushing a big plastic soda bottle. It was quiet at times and other times I could feel it right the way through the floorboards. I asked the FA
and she said "oh it does that all the time, it's just the plastic." Not a very technical answer, but at least she tried. Now I fly a LOT, particularly on 320s and 319s - admittedly this is my first 321 trip in many years - and I've never heard anything like this.
Please to explain?
