Aircraft Engine Website

Mon Apr 14, 2008 7:20 pm

I hope this is in the correct place... and I appologize if threre is a thread about this, but I didn't see one.

Is there a website that shows what airlines have what aircraft, and what kind of engines that are on those?
Eg: WS and WN fly 737's that have CFM56 engine's.

Thanks for the help!

Every single B737 built from the -300 up has CFM56 engines on it.

Most airlines' individual web sites have a fleet info page.

and what kind of engines that are on those?

For starters, Boeing lists the engine choice of its customers on its orders and deliveries page.

Good answer.   That was easy.

Hi DW,

If you are willing to pay, there are several commercial fleet databases out there that have the info you seek.

This website is the most comprehensive airliner database I have seen which is free to use.

http://www.rzjets.net/

It certainly includes engine type data.

The engine manufacturer websites also usually have quite a bit of information about the aircraft types using their various engine models. For example the CFM56 summary page below.
