UAL And Burbank

Tue Sep 02, 2008 11:52 pm

So I was looking at flights on United from Burbank, and it looks like they are going to only be running crj's now for the Burbank to Denver hop. Is this becuase they are parking all of the 737's and only Skywest has the bandwidth to pickup the flights or is the capacity really that low and it only warrants crj's.

So why do I ask ... I hate crj's ... they are beer cans with wings. I will miss the 737's even if they are in need of allot of updates.

Last I checked, every plane sans the 787 is a beer can with wings. :P

As far as booking goes, book one on the CRJ-700. It's a better bird all-around.

It's because that's what United wants. They have bigger aircraft, but BUR-DEN is not as big a market for them as DEN-ONT, or DEN-SNA is. It was at one time, but not now. Perhaps in the future, it'll pick up again, but for right now, they are needed in other markets.
Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun.

Yeah I guess your right on the beer can thing. The CRJ-700's are much better than the 200's. Also the EMB 175's are pretty good for a regional jet too.

Still I am looking forward to a 787 ride when ever that will come up.
